Mountain Golf

Unparalleld Mountain Golf

The acclaimed Mountain Course at Spruce Peak reaches an elevation of more than 1,800 feet and features rock outcroppings, wildlife at every glance, and sweeping views of both Spruce Peak and Mt. Mansfield. Enjoy world-class hospitality as you play up, over, and around the Green Mountains.

Course designer Bob Cupp noted that: “Once every few decades, a spectacular sight for golf appears. Such is the case at the foot of Mount Mansfield in Vermont. There may be no finer collection of short par fours anywhere in America.”

The Mountain Course is reserved exclusively for Club members and guests of The Club at Spruce Peak with a qualifying stay at The Lodge at Spruce Peak.

Do not let the 6,411-yard length give your false-hope, the Mountain Course can be tough on a good day and a beast if windy. Slope Rating is the USGA method for measuring the difficulty of a course and the Mountain Course at Spruce peak is one of the highest in New England at 151.

Stowe Country Club

As one of New England's only 36 hole Golf Resort, guests of The Lodge can enjoy two wonderful, but dramatically different, golf experiences. Named by Golf Week as the 'Top Public Course in Vermont,' Stowe CC is a  classic parkland layout and perfect for beginngers and skilled golfers alike.

The course is also home to the largest all-grass practice facility in the area and you can hone your game with one of our 4 PGA Golf Professionals.
